There is no doubt that I am a writer.  I love to write, but it isn't my only passion.  I am hoping to attend Emerson College in the fall…which I guess is kind of a big deal due to my age.  Apparently most people who attend MFA programs are older and have had professional careers.  Regardless, I am excited.  I hope that by furthering my education I will get published and then be able to teach at a university.  This will allow me better access to grants so that I can begin after school arts programs for at-risk/ underprivileged youth.  I just hope it all works out…I take that back.  I'm determined to make it all work out.
